HyperDrive

Variable speed drive for wound rotor induction motors (also called Slip Energy Recovery drive or SER drive). The HyperDrive combines maximum efficiency, recovering slip energy from the motor and returning it to the grid, with the ability to operate the motor above rated speed (hypersynchronous speed) without loss of torque, allowing the drive power to be raised above rated while maintaining the configuration.
  • Maximum efficiency. Slip energy recovery provides a higher level of efficiency compared to other technologies
  • Redundancy.Supported by a starter, it enables operation at rated speed even in failure situations, providing a soft transition
  • Hypersynchronous speed. Increase production safely with hypersynchronous speed without torque loss
