Electrodrives is pleased to inform that it has moved its physical address to a new location. This action is part of the consolidation of the acquisition of INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONICS S.A. (IES) with the objective to provide our customers a modern facility with larger premises more suitable for manufacturing and testing of industrial equipment.

Following the acquisition of IES, there was a clear evidence that the growing business need larger premises. In late 2019, Electrodrives signed a binding contract to acquire a new building located in the town of Getafe, 5 km South of Madrid. Early in 2020, we commenced the upgrade and refurbish works in the new building in order to better adapt the facility to our manufacturing business of electrical equipment. The COVID-19 pandemic during March and April hit very much most businesses in Spain including ourselves, and prevented us to complete the move in time. Nevertheless, thanks to the good work of the people of Electrodrives/IES and our contractors we had only one month of delay and we are now up and running in our new building.
The new building has three floors offices, lift and car parking for employees and customers. From the manufacturing perspective, it has 1,362 square meters and a fix testing facility with three electric motors of three different topologies (Wound Rotor Induction Motor, Squirrel Cage Induction Motor and DC Motor) in back-to-back configuration to test SER Drives, SRD, RCD, LRS and Softstarters.
